Illuminate
Illuminate is a lamp and app designed to help you or a family member with their mental health while you're apart. The lamp allows the person who is struggling with mental health to log their emotions using a small remote. A loved one is then notified of this emotion in the Illuminate app where they can then record a comforting audio message to send. When the message reaches the lamp it will begin to glow. An the message can be played by pressing the play button on the remote.
SYNC
Sync is a wearable device designed for the hard of hearing to be able to experience nightlife. The device listens to the music being played in clubs and turns the sound in to vibrations that correspond to the beat to let you know the beat you should dance to. The colour of the lights on the device represent the genre of music and flash to beat of the music in line with the vibrations.
Billy The Badger
Billy the Badger is a an app and stuffed toy that helps staff, parents and their babies in their journey through the neonatal intensive care unit. The main function of the app is the stories section in which parents are able to record stories that can be sent to the Billy soft toy speaker on top of their babies incubator to allow premature babies to hear their parents voice even when they are apart.
NADIYA
Nadiya is an app that was created as a response to the war in Ukraine with the aim to help provide a way for children and their family/carers that have been affected by the war. Nadiya provides a safe space to tackle the trauma that may be experienced and to help keep relationships with those around us strong.
